"The new owner has let the place go downhill very quickly. Used to be a fantastic place to get quality meats but it's usually spoiled when they sell it to you now."
"Man...I really don't want to dislike it because it's so convenient and really was great for so long...but over the past few months I've noticed a drastic change in this place. The employees may never have been friendly, but now they are downright rude--to everyone. And being in the store when employees are yelling at one another makes for a very, very uncomfortable shopping experience. Everything about this place now makes me not want to come back again."
"I ordered sandwiches and specifically told them what I wanted. This is the 2nd time they made what they wanted to make, not what I ordered. All I asked for was sauce, 2 types of meat, and extra cheese. I even took the time to verify before I hung up, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. The first time, I got accused of leaving them a bad review. Mistakes happen. Even told Jay that when I left today, before I checked my sandwiches at the truck. They were made wrong. I take them back and try to have a discussion with Brent. He cops an attitude and starts throwing and slamming stuff. Then as he goes to remake them, I hear "Oh my gawd, can't you just pick it off." Nah. Mistakes happen and not every mistake warrants an asschewing by management. However, if that is how you want to act, I'm not dealing with it. I'll find lunch elsewhere. Not the same since Stan sold it. We've been going to that store for over 30 years, and I'm not sure if that will continue after today."
"I love Sailors, I most oftenly use them to get pizza, and the pizza is great. What is not great is how RUDE the employees are?! I understand everyone has a bad day but 9 times out of the 10 the person answering the phone and working the deli is just straight up rude. Their tone and misdeamor is just unacceptable when working with the general public."
"Love them! Love this place, very kind and when I asked about filling the fuel tank in my pick up truck it was no problem at all! And the pop machine with cans for just a couple quarters made me so happy!! Sure prices are a little higher than those other corporate stores but this place is all American home town Hicksville!! Gas in Colorado is over 4$ now!! So stop here and enjoy the friendly place and people! Life goes to fast enjoy this! Thanks for being so kind! GOD BLESS THE USA! And my USMC sons!
