"I strongly recommend staying away from this law firm if you are seeking any estate planning or trust needs. My family made a very expensive mistake by utilizing Pam Potter. After finding numerous errors in our documents, Pam responded in a defensive and condescending tone and asked if I was in fact a member of my family. (One particular major and alarming issue being she had my name incorrect on trust documents, hence her rude comment.) At this point, my family had been her clients for over six years. Given the sensitive nature of trust, which encompasses my family’s wealth and assets—and then subsequently my father’s death, I expect more care, concern and sensitivity from the lawyer we hired. Pam Potter was also paid to file my father’s will in court, as advised by her for probate. She was paid handsomely to execute this. When we followed up and inquired about the status, Pam Potter blamed Kenton County courts for rejecting it and stated she will have to “try again.” (And yes, Pam Potter was the one who drew up my parents’ will, something else we also paid her for.) Over six years ago when my family hired Pam Potter to establish our family’s trusts, my husband and I also paid her to draw up our wills. However, after witnessing how many errors she thoughtlessly and carelessly made, we will be seeking out the services of another law firm to correctly and competently draw up our wills, costing us more money. Hiring a competent estate attorney is extremely important to protect your family’s assets and Pam Potter is NOT the person that I recommend anyone hire."
