"This is for the New Philadelphia office specifically. I am not a customer but my dad who is 71 years old is. My dad trusted this company with the maintenance of his insurance of auto, and home. Specifically he was ensured through progressive. My dads 6 month, and annual policy due dates were due by April 1st. My dad put 2 checks into the mail and sent them both to the auto location, instead of one of the checks going to another location specifically for home. My dad was reinsured many times by Tuscarawas Insurance Agency that everything would be okay, that they would handle everything. Specifically this was several weeks ago. My dad reached out to TIA numerous times, still worried. Yesterday my dad received a cancellation letter in the mail for his home insurance as well as a check for the annual amount. My dad was frantic, because he trusted TIA to take care of him. I, his daughter called the agency to ask questions. A lady whom answered the call says “yes I know I’ve been dealing with him (my dad) all day and we’ve reached out to progressive.. etc” she more or less passed the blame on my dad and progressive.. however, my dad is a customer of Tusc insurance agency and trusted their word that they were actually doing what they said that they were. Whoever I spoke to at Tusc Insurance Agency ensured that many many calls were made to progressive. So I, his daughter, gathered up his policy information and called into progressive corporate myself. I was able to get his policy renewed and back dated to the original date, and pay for his annual policy over the phone. I also had corporate look into the notations to investigate if any calls from the agency (Tuscarawas Insurance Agency) were made. Zero.. calls had been made to home insurance department. (Corporate documents any phone calls made). I actually had to get special approval from corporate progressive to renew the policy after the cancellation due to no previous notes in the file of phone calls from Tuscarawas Insurance Agency. The very next day my dad received a call from Tuscarawas insurance agency stating that they (as in Tusc insurance agency) took care of everything! They were able to renew his policy and cut him a check from the previously one mailed in. (When the night before, everything was handled by me, his daughter) I assume they received an email from progressive stating that my dads policy was renewed. Moral of the story, cut the middle man. I would NEVER recommend Tuscarawas Insurance Agency. They lied multiple times to my elderly father. And whoever works in the New Phila office with progressive, a woman.. should reconsider finding employment elsewhere as she lacks customer service skills, and honesty."

"I have no car do not drive I cancelled my insurance they charged my card anyway an over a month later still haven't received my money back have gotten 3 different stories every time I've contacted them about it .. the only one there that capible of doing there job is the receptionist.."
