"I was sent a letter from the Wood County Prosecutors Office. It stated I needed to send in my taxes for further review or face jail time. I sent them in feeling this was an over reach by this office. I didn't hear another word from them. Two days ago I received a letter from the IRS. It stated that I over paid my federal taxes by almost a grand for the same year the prosecutors office asked for. Now if I sent a letter to the Wood County Prosecutors Office Stating that I wanted proof that I did not over pay my county taxes or face jail time.Would they be held to the same kind of standards. I dont think so either."
