"Super disappointed this time around. Make sure you ask them how much it's going to be upfront. Everyone there is super kind, but the cost doesn't equal the situation. The first guy who tried to assist didn't know what a DIV form was, and wasn't familiar with STRS/OPERs so started to get really worried , and another coworker had to take over for him. At the end of it all somehow being a contractor and having 1 bank interest form, and 1 div form equated to SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS in fees. I showed them my 30% off email (literally the reason why I came in), which I got April 8th, and they said it had expired March 31st. I asked why they would send me an expired coupon and she said she didn't know but they couldn't take it. All in all, the total charge was 5 times the amount I owed in taxes, and really feeling like I could have just sent all my documents to turbo tax for a quarter of the price."

"I had my taxes done at the Euclid/Lakeshore office in April. The preparer CC entered an incorrect account number for my direct deposit. My state income tax return is somewhere, but no one can tell me when I am going to receive it. In the past week I’ve been told 3 times that someone was going to call me the next day and 3 times, no one has called. I would not recommend this service to anybody, I’m out $6901.00 because of their mistake and no one has done anything to resolve this. VERY disappointed in Hewitt Jackson! The only reason I gave you one star was because I couldn’t leave zero stars Hewitt Jackson has now told me 7 times that someone would call and no one ever calls when they say they will Terrible customer service!!?"

"I utilized this branch for my 2020 tax returns and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in 25 years of filing taxes. The reviewer did not ask one question. That same year I sold a house, bought a house, and had some other financial transactions that needed to be recorded. She wrongfully documented my return with a different city and county than the one I lived in, she ignored documents that I provided to her showing that I sold and purchased a house, I then received a bill just recently from the IRS for $182,000. When I called the branch and asked them for a refund, they told me I needed to bring everything into their office so they can review it. I had to hire a CPA for $900 to amend my return and correct their mistakes. AND IM A W2 EMPLOYEE! I’m not even self employed, so the filing was as simple and standard as they get. Oh, and they also enrolled me in the early refund without asking me, that was another $100 spent that I didn’t need to spend. I did not need the early refund. If you are w2, do them yourself for free online. I paid a couple hundred just to have them totally wrong. I called JH and started a case."
