"I cannot express how thankful I am for Denmure Law Office. I lost my dad at 22 years old, and I did not even know where to start with his Estate. They were compassionate and able to help with anything I needed. I would definitely recommend them to anybody!"
"Denmure Law Office took care of my father's estate, I was named personal representative of the estate. There were five beneficiaries including me, but our oldest brother died just five days before dad. It was a very difficult time for all of us. Our little estate was not going to be easy, simple, or fast. Our sister was very sick and dying of cancer, she has two daughters. In the 12 months of proceeding with probate, Denmure Law (and me) had to change gears more than once. A couple of examples are credit cards and the nursing home bill. I spent 3 months myself on these two simply because I did not agree with how much the bill was. King's Daughter's Health hospital was hacked and all computers and printers were inoperable. Dad’s hospital bills were not received by his insurance in the 6 month time frame and now I'm getting bills in the tens of thousands (broken hip), long story. Before we could close the estate, my sister died...her two daughters are now her beneficiaries. Property without a legal description now needs a legal description (current survey) to be properly transferred. This stuff all takes time. Denmure Law never asked for one thin dime the entire time this estate was open. I actually paid all beneficiaries and myself the same day I paid Denmure Law. After working with Ashlee and Rachel, and looking back on all the twists and turns of this probate...I would give 10 stars if I could, and if I had to do it over...I would drive right back to 402 Second Street, Aurora, Indiana."
"I personally thought they weren’t doing their professional legal duty as far as getting my family small estate settled in probate court that took right at a year to pay three small depths off that my father had and a little cash for the beneficiaries and I believe your fee for what little you did and how long it took and it’s still not over with because you left a little portion of land out that gets divided by the four beneficiaries so you hold back $2000 on each beneficiary to get the small portion of land surveyed and I guess to pay your legal fees again and I personally don’t feel I/O you any legal fees whatsoever. You’ve been paid for this once and it’s not nobodies fault, but yours leaving this little portion of land out. And here we go again and it’s been over a month and it’s nothing. It takes about two hours to survey 12 acres in about $1200 for the surveyor fee, so why are you dragging this on and you’re already collected $10,000 for your fee and I hope you’re not expecting no more for your mistake that’s why I don’t think much about you know my brother he thinks a lot about you and I hope there’s no hard feelings it’s just my personal opinion"
"Mr. Denmure..Please convince your client (the executor of the late Connie Lay) to relinquish the dog named Bela, formerly belonging to Connie Lay, to Best Friends animal society in Utah. If funds are an issue, I am 100% positive the dog loving community will provide funds for this dog to lead a happy and full life. I would be more than happy to donate funds as well. For those interested: Best Friends is a wonderful sanctuary for all animals. Dogs are not kept in kennels 100% of the time, they have free range access to the outdoors as well as human interaction and are well cared for. I also assume once they have legal possession of the dog, they might be able to re-home him to a loving family."
"I disagree completely. The woman made her decision, and if Doug had any reservations about it, he should have informed her at the time. I just wonder how many of those rallying to keep the dog would go TODAY to the shelter and adopt one who's going to be killed? Thousands are waiting to be saved. If Connie Lay had a friend or relative responsible enough to care for her dog as she would, she would have made that provision. And sending the dog to Best Friends is the stupidest thing I've read. Living in a kennel among hundreds of other dogs is an egregious injustice, and a shameful one! Further, how did this issue become public? This is a private matter that should have been handled PRIVATELY!"
