"I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. I reached out to HNR block to help with my taxes for 2021 year, since I bought a house and needed some guidance as a young adult. My original tax professional Deanna, was as helpful as she probably could've been directly. However, the first red flag was when she was struggling to send me a document to my email. The second red flag was when I went INTO the Park Ave location to sign said document she could not email me, and when I told the ladies who my tax person was, they all groaned and rolled their eyes. Besides the point now I guess. Deanna filed an extension for my taxes since I needed a transcript from the IRS and it has yet to this day not arrived. Months went by with no transcript and since the extension deadline was coming up, I called the number Deanna gave me around the last week in Sept/ first week in Oct. I spoke with another woman, whose name I don't recall, and explained my situation regarding a settlement check. She said she wasn't sure and had to talk to her boss, Bill. She called me back and left a message saying that they would write it off as a rebate basically and we were all good. I called today, 10/14, and spoke to Bill. Whom whole I explained everything cut me off and would not let me speak. He asked me who I spoke to, and told him unfortunately after head trauma I had a very mad memory, so I did not recall. He sort of rudely asked, well what day did you speak to her, told him a Friday or Saturday I believed. After I finally was able to get words out and answer his questions that should've been noted in my file, he said that what I was told in the voicemail did not make any sense....even though the last woman I spoke to said she had to speak with her supervisor Bill. He then said he would ask around and have someone call me back. Woman calls a few hours later and didn't even know my name. She was taken back when I said my taxes had not been filed yet....like that wasn't the whole reason I was calling?? Very poor communication overall and very unprofessional. Never using them again for taxes"
