"I'm not sure if I stumbled upon a bad day, but my Norwood's experience was off. I called for a brake price for my car (I made sure to specify the make model in year ) of $279 yesterday, reaffirmed at $279 today (302 after tax). Upon arrival, the mechanic claimed one caliper needed replacement, offering a total of $600+tax for both with the brakes or an additional $189+tax for just the problematic one. Due to budget constraints, I chose the single replacement. While the mechanic started, payment was requested. Juggling the extra charge, I asked to split it between two cards. However, upon receiving the receipt, I noticed a charge of $299+tax instead of $279 for the brakes. Assuming a clerical error, I returned to the desk, triggering a dispute between the lady and the mechanic. Their resolution: $20 off future services, with the mechanic refusing further assistance. Feeling perplexed, I took out my camera to capture the situation politely. The mechanic didn't like me taking his photo and he said he would refuse to work on my car. While given me my car back he didn't forget to threat a lawsuit if I posted photos. Complying with his request (Tyler, according to his badge), I refrain from photos, sharing only an AI-generated image resembling him. Uncertain of who the owner or manager is, I feel bad that despite the mechanic's initial professionalism, he took all this time to diagnose my car. The lady at the front said I'm no longer welcome at Norwood's, and the work remains incomplete. Time was wasted for everyone, and no one paid in the end."
