"Worst GAL ever! If I could have given her zero stars, I would have. She does not have the best interest of child. She doesn’t return emails or calls. Heck, she’ll even hang up on you if she don’t like what your telling her. She’ll drag the court case on just to get more money out of you. She went to 2 supervised visits in over year!! 2…that is all!!! And claims she knows what’s best for my grandson. Smh. Shell lie right to your face and then turn around and say she never said that."

"Good luck if you get her as a GAL! I have never in my life found it harder to communicate with someone. Martha will say one thing to you, and come back next time saying, "I don't remember it happening that way." Or, "I don't remember saying that". You can tell she's a "lawyer" based off of how good of a manipulator and liar she is. A combined total of $1,600 out the door for her to come to two supervised visits, and a handful of court hearings. She does NOT follow through on a thing she says she will. In my opinion she does not have the best interest of children at heart.. Many times I would bring concerns to her attention, and it would get brushed off or never mentioned. She has had an entire year on my case, and hasn't done one thing! She was supposed to contact my son's father to set up parenting classes that worked with his schedule, that never happened. Good luck getting a return email or phone call too. Countless nights I spent praying for this court case to just be done with. She drug it out in more ways than one. Every response you'll get from her will be minimal, confusing, and leave you questioning your sanity. Not sure if it's her old age causing her "memory issues", or if she's really just that lazy to not do the bare minimum!"

"If there was a choice for ZERO stars that’s exactly what she would have. We went for mediation and I explained to her all the concerns I have for my son she was EXTREMELY rude up until the end when it was time to pay her. She didn’t care about anything but getting paid. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to her for her so called “services”. Better luck talking to a kindergartener. $200 an hour for absolutely nothing. ABSOLUTELY NO CARE IN THE WORLD FOR WHAT IS BEST FOR YOUR CHILD."

"I have worked with Marty often over the years, and have always found her to be honest, fair, very competent, and extremely hard working. Her main focus is always what is best for the children. I refer friends and family to her, and am confident in her abilities! In my opinion, if you are reading a negative review about her, it is because that person "lost" their custody or visitation and instead of acknowledging the truth, they blamed Marty and lashed out via Google reviews. I give her 5 stars and two thumbs up!"
