"I don't mean to sound like a commercial but this is the best little pizza and sandwich shop anywhere. Their wood-fired oven pizzas are excellent and the sandwiches are very good. They also offer a range of really tasty baked goods and desserts that varies from day to day. Cold beer is available in addition to the usual soft drink beverages. The "general store" moniker mostly harkens back to the building's century-old history, but they do sell an assortment of local and other Kentucky-made products, including food, wine, sauces, jams, and some craft/decor items. If you are out for a ride in the countryside, this would be a great place to stop for a bite and maybe shop a little bit."

"I have lived near this place for years and seen it evolve over time. This is the best iteration that I have seen it. Its so welcoming but modern at the same time. It has an excellent mix of home feel while still being very professional. The owners should be very proud of what they have done here in the middle of nowhere. I had the bacon ranch pizza for supper on Sunday and immediately wanted to go back for lunch on Monday but they are closed so Tuesday can't come fast enough. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. The service is top notch as well. This will become a staple in my weekly meal plan. If you're ever around Glencoe, or feel like taking a drive, this is definitely a stop you should make."
