Marathon Gas

"I used to consider Sam a friend we always had great conversations was my go to gas station even though he's a bit higher priced and the price was always different it was the interaction that made it good for me. One day I made a purchase and Sam told me my card was declined and the transaction was canceled that wasn't the truth the transaction went through for almost 20 dollars I noticed the transaction was pending so I went back to the store and let Sam know he said if it goes through I'll make it right. We'll that night it went through and the money was taken off my card. I went back to Sam and he told me without a receipt he wouldn't help me. He knew there wasn't a receipt because the transaction was "canceled " I told him I didn't care about a refund just give me what I paid for and we would be ok . He started yelling telling me I wasn't getting anything oand he wasn't coming out of pocket for me. Remind you he done took the money so I done paid I then told him to call his boss so he did and his boss told him he would handle it another day and hung up. I told him that it was a buisness day and I wanted it handled right then because I could tell they were just trying to blow it off after arguing about it for 20 min and me calling the bank and my bank telling me he had to send a refund he called his boss back and I talked to his boss . They both tried telling me I was lying for about 30 min I then called the police because at this point I was getting pissed and needed them to help get Sam and his boss to give me the refund. After calling the TWPD and them coming to the store Sam and his boss admitted the transaction was legit and said they would refund the money to the card. Here it is a week later and still nothing. It took me to call the police for a petty refund after being called a liar and threatened. I've always kept it real after with Sam just for him to lie and steal from me in the end. Do not pay by card here if you stop here this was sketchy from the time the transaction was canceled the card machine never even said it was canceled I just trusted someone I thought was a friend these are scammers not friends."

"How is this place even a business!? Air pump never works and lots of funny business goes on in the area. Not going back very shady place"

"Didn't get gas here, just visited the inside. Lots of cold drinks and snacks. The worker was super friendly and helpful."

"Half the pumps are out of order, mine didn't read cards, had to go inside and the pump was incredibly slow. Maybe 15 minutes to fill up 10 gallons"
