"I paid all the money for a Canal Dover dining room table. Nice looking piece. Accidently left a couple drops of water on the table and now there are apparently permanent marks that I cannot get out. Tried to reach out to the finish expert, left several messages and he won't return my calls. He finally returned my call and although it turns out it really isn't his responsibility to do so, he called and gave me a good explanation of the problem. Turns out YOU SHOULD NEVER USE ANY SILICONE BASED FURNITURE POLISH ON WOOD FINISHES. It is harmful to the finish long term. Who knew?! I appreciate the rep getting back to me with this insight and, as such, have revised my review. Thanks."
