"Thinking the contractor would work best as the “general contractor” for renovating a kitchen, we made the mistake of choosing our contractor first which means they chose the kitchen designer/seller. We fired them, shopped/researched cabinet lines and woods to get an idea of what we wanted and could afford. Then we shopped for a kitchen designer/seller who could act as “general contractor” ( Meaning we would have to do day to day supervision of the contractor/installers we hired as well as coordinate with the designer/seller.) We really struck Gold with EDGEWOOD Cabinetry & Design in Edgewood, Ky. From the start Bo and Michael were all about what we wanted out of a kitchen. Our project was small. But still, they were willing to help guide us with any aspect of the decision making process we needed help with, including how to handle contractors/installers. I can’t list the amount of times either Michael or Bo came to our aid, often at times when a future problem was beyond our sight. Without them our beautiful kitchen would not exist today. Your kitchen design is truly yours. The prices they charge are fair for the products you get. Our Shiloh cabinets are exceptionally crafted. We also payed for installation through this company, and Bo once again exceeded our expectations. He was meticulous at installing every part of the cabinetry, taking extra care to make sure the cabinets were perfectly even on our slightly uneven floor and even reordering parts he didn't think matched the quality expected of Shiloh. He worked with us far longer than expected to make sure we were absolutely happy with the final product no matter how long that took. Edgewood Cabinetry and Design deserves a trophy for being a stellar local business, a true hidden gem in NKY! I recommend them without reservation."
