The best part though is the small town feel... the owners/employees recognizing you when you walk in.. the impromptu bull sessions that are sometimes in full swing with a few local gents... the fact that they have a TV on playing forensic files virtually non stop. If you're looking for a big box store experience this is not your cup of tea. If you're looking for personal assistance from the owners or employees that care then Seaman Hardware is the place for you. Drop in and have a soda from an antique Pepsi cooler while patronizing a locally owned and operated business. You'll like it... I guarantee it!"

"It's a good store because it's the only hardware store in about a 30 minute radius, however I don't really enjoy going here to pick up anything due to the staff hovering. It's a little pet peeve of mine. If I need help I can go to the check out desk to ask someone where something is; especially if I'm going in there to get something pre-packaged and not any "loose" hardware. My father and I got tired of the staff hovering and now travel the extra miles to get to another place that sells hardware-related items that we need for what we're doing. Sometimes we like to take a little bit longer and browse items for ideas on what we could do differently in a project, and being hovered over makes us feel like we're being mentally told "grab what you need, pay for it, and get out"."
