"Angela was awesome...friendly and experienced.."
"This is my favorite location! Everyone is friendly and Gus (Augustine) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. He deserves tax prepar of the year! Will be returning next year."
"Angela is great !! Made filing taxes a breeze ! More understanding and caring than any other tax professional! Block Advisors is the best ! They wave the fees that the other H&R blocks charge , so most definitely recommend Block Advisors instead of just plan old H&R Block."
"I made an appointment for Saturday at 10am, i came but the place was closed. Waited for 10 minutes in case they were late and nothing, they never came. I received an SMS to confirm the appointment the day i made it... not even a phone call to let me know they won't be available."
"I have never posted a negative review of a business online because I’d much rather provide feedback directly to them and have them correct the issue so it doesn’t happen in the future. However, I’ve been unable to do that because I can’t seem to receive a call back. So here we are.. Our experience with Block Advisors on Buttermilk has been wildly disappointing. I scheduled an appointment on their website (March 4th at 9AM) for my wife and I to get our taxes filed. When we arrived to our appointment we were informed our “Master Tax Advisor” wasn’t even in the building and was currently at an appointment. I explained that I received a confirmation text from them for this date and time with that person. With no apology offered, the front desk worker told us to leave and to return in an hour when she’d be there. We left, came back an hour later, and were told that they did not have time for an appointment with us due to other appointments. They then let us know that since we had uploaded all our documents online though they should be able to complete our taxes without us returning again. Our “Master Tax Advisor” claimed she would call me around 1PM that day to ask some “due diligence” questions and then everything would be good to go. I did not receive a call for a couple of days from then. Once all the questions were answered, I was informed that the documents would be ready to sign in a couple days and then be sent off. We went in a few days later to sign everything. Once there, the front desk worker began to search for our documents and informed us she couldn’t find them. After a bit of searching she was able to locate them. We signed our portions, paid our fees for their services, confirmed there was nothing else that needed to be done, and left. After about 2 weeks I received a message on the H&R Block website from another woman saying that she had completed our taxes and we needed to review and sign them. I did not see this message for around a week, when I did I was very confused and called the office immediately. The woman who answered told me she would pass the message along to our “Master Tax Advisor” and have her call us back. I received a voicemail from her saying she was unsure why we received that message on the website and everything was fine. I found this to be odd but didn’t think too much into it and let it go (this was 4/12). After almost another week (on 4/18) I decided to check the website to see if there was an ETA on our refund and that’s when I saw that it had just been filed on 4/12 when I received the voicemail ensuring me “everything was fine” with our return. I called the office multiple times that day (4/18) to ask questions and gain some clarity as to why the return hadn’t been filed for almost a month after we signed. I was told that our “Master Tax Advisor” would call us back. It has now been a week since my last call and we’ve received no communication from them. After paying $300 for horrible customer service and no communication, to say that we’re disappointed is an understatement."
