"Ok. I have been to a few shops in the area and their service is by far the best. Had an issue with my Hummer and took it to a few shops. It sat at one shop for 2 months and they tried everything they said. Finally came across Springdale Automotive they came pick up my truck and had it ready the next week. Everything went smooth. "I would give no stars, but it's making me give at least 1. I've gone here a few times before and was always impressed with their service and communication. However my last interaction with them was not great. I called in a few weeks ago to get a quote on replacing an engine. I gave them all of the necessary information and was told the turn around is typically 24 hours. That was on a Thursday and called back the next Monday. It was not ready yet. No big deal honestly. I call back that Friday and still not done. I believe I spoke to the same employee all 3 times. Instead of first apologizing, which I was not looking for I got a laundry list of excuses as to why it was still not done. 1: The guy that does them ended up being out of the office. 2: We are really busy. 3: We are understaffed. 4: We are a very popular shop in town. Finally I get an apology. Again not what I was looking for. 2 weeks and a day later still no estimate from them. No estimate, no phone call, nothing. If you are going to set an expectation of 24 hours, all I ask is to just let me know if that cannot be met. To just not do it and not get back to me 2 weeks later is inexcusable. Brooks and Son right down the road had an estimate over to me in 48 hours and there are literally only 2 people working there presently."
