When I communicated these issues to him he washed his hands of it saying that it was my responsibility to make sure sure my filings were right. I didn't get even so much as an apology for his mistakes. I trusted him to prepare my taxes right but I misplaced my trust"
"Our federal return went through (as far as we know) without issue. But our W2s were not submitted with our state return. Which means we received a letter saying that our return (which was a significant amount) had been zeroed out due to insufficient documents. We are filing an appeal and resubmitting everything ourselves. Why are we doing this ourselves? We have tried to contact him for three months. No response."
