"This isn’t my normal mechanic, but they are open on weekends so I took a chance on them when my car broke down late Friday night. Unfortunately there were some complications that made it difficult to look at my car until Monday. The mechanic who originally looked at my car never called me or reached out, so I had to call them for an update Monday morning. Apparently this mechanic left early and didn’t provide any notes on the situation, so I was disappointed to hear no progress had been made when I called again Tuesday evening before they closed. Luckily the assistant manager assured me he’d look at my car first thing Tuesday morning. He called to inform me of the issue and it was ready by Tuesday afternoon. It was a simple repair. Pros -Assistant manager is great and really knows his stuff -Repair was quick and relatively straightforward Cons -It took three days before my car could be diagnosed (during the slowest part of the year) -The original mechanic really let me down -I had to initiate contact every time (until the assistant manager got involved) -More expensive than I expected, but I don’t have much of a frame of reference so I’m not holding that against them Overall I think I’ll stick with my go-to mechanic, but I’m not opposed to giving Tire Choice another chance in the future if I have to."
