"Negative stars is what I would like to rate my experience as. DO NOT GO TO WOOD BOOKKEEPING. Worst experience of my life!!! I've had to sue him because he messed up my tax return so bad and then said he would pay the IRS penalties and he never did. He lied to us on multiple occasions and said he almost had our taxes done and then called three weeks later and it turned out he hadn't even started them. He then messed them up, 6 months later we receiving a letter from the IRS saying it was wrong, he tried to fix it, he messed that up again and then tried to blamed the error on his third party vendor who sends the tax return. He is not accountable for anything and completely disorganized. The guy is a shyster. Additionally, my mom is an 80 year old lady who took her taxes in and she didn't make enough so she didn't even have to file taxes. She didn't know this. He told her that he filed her taxes and he'd see her next year. She doesn't need to see accountant ever because she makes so little but he didn't tell her that. Meanwhile he didn't even do anything. He was hoping she would show up every year and pay him $100 thinking he did something and he didn't have to do anything. He did the same thing to her 80 year old friend. He ripped off two old ladies. He has no ethics. This review is only the tip of the iceberg of the issues with this guy. There's a specials place in hell for people like him. I only hope people read this review and know I haven't even begun to tell them how bad he is. Lots of people can crunch numbers. Go to anyone else."

"I’ve been going to Don for several years now and I always leave out of there completely satisfied! Even when I still owe taxes…Haha! The first year I went to Don he gave me some advice on how to maximize our taxes and ever year since it has helped me with not owing any additional money to the government. I have and will continue to recommend him to my friends and family."

"Mr Wood did our taxes a couple years in a row. After my divorce I needed copies of our tax documents. He did not return any of my calls, nor my request for an appointment. I went to his office and waited until he finally seen me. Then went off for me not having an appointment, taking up his valuable time. All I needed was 4 pages of a return. Rude and unprofessional."

"We took our 2016 paperwork to Mr. Wood In February 2017. We just got our refunds in March 2018. Mr. Wood had to file an extension because our taxes were not completed by the deadline. It was extemely difficult to try and contact Mr. Wood via phone, email, or even stopping by because he was closed or his voicemail was full. Even when we had an appointment, it would take 1 to 2 hours of waiting for him to gather information that we were requesting. He told us at the end of August that he would electronically file our taxes because it would be quicker. However, we never heard anything and had to keep trying to contact him to find out what was going on with our taxes. Finally, March 20, 2018 we got our refunds. This was an extremely stressful situation for us. We have never had so many problems trying to get our taxes filed and our refunds back. Horrible experience!"
