"If I could give negative stars I would please don't go to him he will scam you out of your money drive your car all over they place he doesn't even have a driver license he was post to change my transmission all he did was spray paint it you can see they spray paint on they car please don't use him stole over 4,000 dollars from us and he doesn't answer your calls gives you a run around and mess up your car more when I brought it to him I didn't have a over heating issue now my water pump is bad his business needs shut down for good and he should be locked up for scamming people"

"Took my daughter's car in for battery draining issues. He kept the car for several weeks, charged us for alternator replacement, then said we had a parasitic amperage failure. Long story short, we pulled the car and took it to someone else. Dealer markings are still on the alternator we paid for and he is no longer responding to messages or calls. Scam artist who takes advantage of his customers."

"I came to visit Richmond for a weekend, and once I got there, realized that my battery was dying. I felt a little panicked since it was a Saturday, and I had to leave again Sunday, but I was lucky enough to find that Rodney was available that day. My car gave out on my way to his shop, and he offered to drive over and jump my car. He stayed nearly a couple of hours over his work-time to fix my car up. Honestly, one of the kindest experiences I've had at a car fix. Made it back home safe and sound! :)"

"Was advised to use this place for wife's vehicle. He wanted money upfront and went on about some heart surgery he had less than a year ago, basically rambled. Was quoted 846.50 for Starter, Alternator, Valve Cover Gasket, and oil change. I believe this happened on a Monday. To spare boredom I will shorten story. Over the course of a week this mechanic kept rambling about heart problems and making excuses why it took longer to repair. Went so far as to even say my wife's vehicle had the wrong battery in it. Also spindled a tail about jumping a battery causes marks on the outside of a starter (important for later). So wife went to autozone replaced battery. Mind you the other one was fine. A week went by and finally stated it was ready. Cost was now up to 922.27. Wife picked up vehicle from him Monday and I got the call she was stranded by end of week Friday. Left work to get her and tow her car to a real shop. The real shop confirmed Car Guy did not change anything out, nor the oil. The real mechanic even took pictures of the alternator which Car Guy had spray painted and the Starter which you could see the marks on where he had beaten it with a hammer. As you guessed I spent over $1,000 with this real mechanic to fix the car proper and since the car has worked. I am hoping someone reads this before using their service as I do not want anyone else to get swindled."

"Rodney is the worst Mechanic you could possibly choose. Would not send my worst enemy to this guy. He does nothing by lie, commits to false promises, and steals your money. I had our vehicle taken to him and he had said he could fix it. After spending almost 1,300.00 for parts and labor that he requested up front, the parts arrived and his story took a 180 turn. Said there was no way he knew it was a problem, said he'd return money right away, etc. He refunded not quite $400.00 cause he felt sorry and said he'd have the rest within a few weeks. That was 4 months ago, still haven't seen a dime. All he does is ignore your requests and tries not to be at his shop if he knows your coming. His shop is run down, a complete mess of parts and tools. Horrible horrible company! Please listen and don't use!"
