"The following is based off of my experience with this company. When they came on as consultants to help save our failing company, Roger he counseled us to let go of our current accountant and use one that they recommended (outside of Gem City) as well as stop an ongoing SBA application for additional funding so they could help us 'maximize' and 'expedite' the outcome. 2 months into our relationship, I inquired about the delay in our SBA loan process as well as additional bridge funding. Roger requested I sign a document that promised him a portion of ownership of our company. He stated that they would not proceed with the the SBA loan or any addition funding unless I signed the paper. When I refused he removed our access to the accountant (again not a part of Gem City). When we independently requested services through the accountant he came out once to assist us and then afterwards declined and specifically said that Roger forbid it. During the brief time I worked with her, Linda appeared to be wise and professional. She was kind and I really did appreciate her. However, our experience was so bad that I would never recommend this company."
