"My AC went out and he said it needed a new accumulator, he did that. After two days smoke was coming out from under the hood and there was a burning rubber smell. I took it back. He said the rebuilt accumulator was a bad one "sometimes that happens", which is true. He put in a new one, also rebuilt. The next day after getting my car back I turn on the AC and the engine died. I called and he said bring it in. The next day a lady called and said, "we found no issue, come get your car." I got the car and the very next day the same thing happened. When I turned on the AC the engine died. Soon after Cahill looked at my car the second time and said he found no issue my mother saw him at the fair. He looked at her and asked, "Well? How's the car?" She told him it was still not working and he said nothing. If he would have called me after that (he knew my number) then I wouldn't have written this review. I took it to Rick's Auto Sales in Kenton and they told me the AC system most likely wasn't flushed or flushed improperly and it needed another accumulator among many other things. In the end Rick's fixed my AC. I am stating exactly how things went in this man's service. I hope he is more careful in the future. I am not angry but I did pay $700 for a non-repair."
"Need a heater core, they had my Dakota for a week. Said they couldn't do it because it had to be done at a dealer, for $1200. I took it to Kearns Automotive in Bellefontaine, he replaced it for less than $200, plus he did a lot more work on it at no charge."
"They were always great on prices and fixed my car up pretty well a couple of times. Unfortunately, in the end not even they could have saved it. It ended up in a junk yard before we moved cross country."
"I'm from washington state. Went to kenton for work. While there truck was acting up. Took it to Napa it was water pump going out. Bought a water pump going to put it in myself. Cahils was a mile down road drink on. Stopped in and told him my problem. Made a appointment, dropped the truck off and picked it up he didn't put water pump in said didn't need. He replaced other 2 pulleys. Now left wash. To go to indiana 1:30 in the morning truck starts over heating. I was going up a hill had to pull over. Got it towed to spearfish they put a water pump in. Test engine water had got in. Motors shot 1200 miles from home. He had my truck torn apart with the water pump in the truck but didn't put it in."
"My Ford truck A/C was not working. I stopped by to have the A/C checked. They came out took a quick look and said they should be able to fix it. I scheduled an appointment to leave my truck for a day. The next day I came to get the truck with the A/C working great at a reasonable cost of repairs. It has been nearly a year and the A/C is still going great."
