"This is my first experience having my floors professionally cleaned, so I'm not sure how price or thoroughness compares to other companies- apart from the fact that the carpet looks and feels far better than when I moved in, but smells the same (so they're at least better than whoever used the same cleaner back then). Unfortunately, my experience with B&T was so positive that I'm certain I'll never be able to report that comparison. This company has gained my loyalty for as long as they're in business! Here's why: My carpets are original to the house, about 25 years old. I haven't been kind to them, nor have previous owners. They'd gotten so bad that I felt negatively about my home even when it was freshly cleaned. Visitors who asked about taking their shoes off were met with, "I wouldn't. These floors are sooo gross." You get the point... I can't believe the difference well-cleaned carpets can make in a person's life. I'd hoped they'd look marginally better, but they look spectacular. Expectations exceeded. What I didn't anticipate was how much SOFTNESS could be restored with professional cleaning, or how much the combined sensory experience of freshly cleaned scent, pleasant feel, and vastly improved visual would so greatly affect my entire perspective of my home. It's motivated me to tackle other improvement issues I've been avoiding. "Impossible tasks" are disappearing daily, because I'm eager to get the carpets cleaned in my more neglected rooms. On top of that, I find B&T's level of integrity to be superior to other companies. Passionate and knowledgeable about their craft, offered reasonable and affordable maintenance advice, and made me extremely cautious about ever letting anything with red dye in my house again! Most importantly, I saw evidence of staff who feel appreciated. Heavy items I asked to be moved were moved and meticulously replaced, as were heavy items (full of fragile, heirloom glass) where I gave the option of skipping. In my experience, well cared for employees are those most likely to go above and beyond for their company. Can't speak highly enough. Thank you guys so much for the unexpected motivational boost! I wish I'd followed my mother's glowing recommendation and called you years ago. Please don't tell her she was right..."
