Battershell Dave

"I woke up to our really old (50+ years)water heater spewing water out of a fitting. I turned the water off and called Dave and told him that I thought a new water heater would be needed. He and his son were here at 8:30 AM and by 11AM or so they were done installing the new water heater. Thank you, Thank you! Kathie"

"About two months ago my hot water heater was going out. I ended up calling Battershell Plumbing in Hicksville off of a recomendation. A new water heater was installed at the cost of $1,399.00. There is now an issue with my spicket on the outside of the house and I need to turn off the main water valve which just happens to be in the laundry room BEHIND the water heater. So I go in to turn it off only to find the lalve cannot be moved because Battershell Plumbing put the water heater to close to the shut off valve. This new water heater is twice as fat as the old one. Do you think Battershell came out beforehand to at least measure? "Nope!" I called Shearer Plumbing in Bryan. They told me they could reposition the water heater for me but encouraged me to spleak with Battershell. According to Shearer Plumbing its the responsibility of the hired plumber to fix the issue they caused. Shearer claims they wouldn't of made that mistake and if they had they wouldnt hesitate to come back out and rectify it. Yesterday I was in Hicksville and stopped at Battershell and explained the issue. He proceeded to tell me, "let me show you what "YOU" can do to fix that? ME? I didnt know customer service worked that way? He wants ME to jerry rig it by bending the valve so I can get it past the heater. Hmmmm? Bend a valve handle? I am zero mechanically inclined. He did offer the idea of calling the city to turn off the water for me? Yeah, thats not gonna happen. "Dude you caused this, you fix it!" Needless to say I dont recommend Battershell for any type of service. Please learn from my experience and taking your plumbing services elsewhere with a company which stands behind their work."

"I called at 7 am, he said he could be here around 10, but couldn’t promise it would be at 10. He backed into my driveway at 959. Came in got job done, left things as they were when he came. Super nice! Not a ridiculous price. I will call again!"
