"The women there follows you around and is quite rude when asked about the tags and discounts very demeaning. Also doesn't say it's cash only until you want to purchase something."
"They have been going out of business for 8 days for a few years now. The owner Doris Peak is scamming people by doing different discounts but in turn marking the items up to absurd amounts so that way it looks like you’re getting a discount. For instance I went in there recently after looking at an item for $10 only to find her changing it to $20 and raising the percentage of the discount to make the item still $10. Not to mention don’t even bother trying to talk to her about her absurdly priced items and trying to get a fair price for them. STEER CLEAR!"
"Difficult to move around store, no way to see items due to such small walkways and tall piles of stuff. Owner follows you around and waits for something to break due to how questionably balanced items on tables are. I was claustrophobic from the experience. I cannot imagine bringing a child here."
"Two shops side by side. One is ok prices and full but pretty well organized. The other is over stuffed and over priced. They follow you around and take things out of your hands. And are just flat rude. Everything is on sale except what you look at."
"When I walked into the Cemetery Ridge Antique Store I was excited to peruse the interesting and varied items that were up for sale. As a young kid I was also excited about learning about past generations. I eventually after looking around decided to buy a set of five coins including a trade dollar. As an amateur coin collector I was very excited to own my very own trade dollar which is a rare and very historic coin. After buying the set for 200 dollars I upon further inspection(I was not allowed to look at it out of its case in the store) found it to be a counterfeit coin. I was quite understandably shocked and disappointed to find the coin I bought for not a small sum was fake. I now understood why they had not allowed me to look at it closer. I was disappointed but i expected the seemingly nice people at the Cemetery Ridge Antique Store would be understanding and give me a refund or any sort of consolation as they had with my utmost trust of them and their integrity in business, sold me a counterfeit coin. They were unhelpful and adamant about not helping in any way shape or form, and I was left feeling betrayed by people I had trusted and down 200 dollars. I was also not pleased that this was the way they treated children. This was not the treatment or integrity I expected when I walked into The Cemetery Ridge Antique Store."
