"I paid for a haircut at the shop i like the haircut but i paid in advance and have never got to see a cut since i called the shop to discuss with the owner and they told me the barber i was speaking of dose not (Exist)meanwhile I've been going there for over a year Moral of the story if I can't trust you to cut my hair why should i want to spend my money with a group of people that don't Respect there own Community"

"***UPDATE*** October 31st 2018: As you all can see the owner of Evolution Hair Studio by Joey Scissors responded back to my initial review. I appreciate that; it shows that as a business owner, Joey cares about his customer and the customer service that's extended to them or so I thought... I followed up with Joey, I called him earlier in the week we made arrangements for me to stop at his shop after work, and we were to meet at 5:45 p.m. I went to the shop much to my surprise Joey WASN'T at his establishment I waited 10 to 15 minutes before; I proceeded to give him a call. He inform me that he was out and about running some personal errands and stated that he would give me a call within the hour which would make it 7 p.m. I waited till 8:30 this evening Joey did not contacted me back in other words JOEY FAILED TO CALL ME BACK! I'VE HAD TWO NEGATIVE BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT THERE WILL NOT BE A THIRD TIME PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME OR LOOK ME UP IN SOCIAL MEDIA AND OTHER WORDS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TRYING TO GET MY BUSINESS ================================= Today, Saturday August 25th 2018 I seriously needed a haircut today unfortunately my regular barber is out of commission 8 to 12 weeks; as that individual is recuperating after sustained injuries from an accident. I went to Joey scissors on the recommendation of a friend. Although I do appreciate them cutting my hair. However, I would like to point out some areas that need some improvements, I walked in instead of one of the staff members acknowledging and welcoming me to their establishment. I had to take the lead in the conversation, and when the one guy (whose chair is closest to the door) asked the other Barbers if they could do a walk in; everyone said they couldn't; as they were "super busy." It wasn't super busy it was moderately busy and there was two guy ahead of me.. I know this is a hip hop barber shop and I'm good and cool with all that; but I still felt out of place; as well as, an outsider,. No one acknowledge my presence or even stated someone will be with you momentarily Luckily the one Barber name Bianca agreed to cut my hair; after I waited about 45 minutes; as it was 5pm. She did ask me how I want my haircut and all that she did the best that she could for being a first timer to their Barbershop. She did not brush the hair off that had fallen on my face and neck with talcum powder. All she said was go home and take a shower; normally, I do after each and every haircut FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE...LASTING IMPRESSION! I'm in the customer service sector myself; you must dazzle and WOW your first time guest/customer so they can keep coming back and telling their friends and family excetera excetera. Also, it is my belief they don't have a flat rate; they charge according to your age range. As Bianca ask me how old was I, I told her I'm my late 40s. She stated that we $20; an 8 minute haircut should not cost $20; so basically Bianca was earning $2.50 per minute (8mins x $2.50=$20.00. II' sure if I'll be returning in 3 to 4 weeks or if I'll try someone else and make a determination, as who will be my temporary barber"
