"Dec 2023 update: Lots of sales going on. I couldn't fine one random item on my list, but I was able to find everything else I was looking for (and then some, if I'm being honest). Super friendly employees Great place for a quick shopping trip. They have these amazing iced oatmeal raisin cookies. They are fantastic! I went in for a half gallon of milk, but they were sold out. No worries, I just grabbed a gallon instead. Luckily, this isn't the type of place to "be out" of something just to up-sell customers."

"They have great fried chicken. Good value and you don't have the mess of doing it at home. I make my own sides to go with. The deli sides aren't very good. But the bread is."

"I ordered catering from the deli for a bridal shower and was blown away with the quality and customer service. First, I ordered too much of each of the sides. One of the employees noticed the discrepancy between the amount of meat ordered and the amount of sides and called me to double check and give me suggestions on the correct quantity. I truly do not believe this would’ve happened had we ordered elsewhere. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests! I will be ordering from Independence Remke for many future events!"

"This store is just a few blocks away and each time I come back for even something quick I’m reminded why I go 15 minutes away to Kroger instead. I’ve purchased molded vegetables the last two visits, chicken that looked overdue on the bottom once opened. I’m not sure how this place passes health inspections."
