"It had been many years since I had gone to an honest-to-goodness barbershop. We’ve only lived in Farmersville for a couple of years. I didn’t realize that Jim was a barber having known him from our campground. I needed a haircut and decided to go to Mug & Brush and give it a try. I couldn’t be happier. Both Jim and Lynn do a great job and I love the atmosphere. I haven’t met Mr. Keener that works there yet, but I’m sure I will at some point."

"I absolutely love getting my hair cut at the Mug and Brush by Jim and Gary. To finish the hair cut off they use a warm lather of shaving cream and shave your neck with a straight razor. I tried one of the chains that offer the $5 haircut and i ended up having to go to jim to fix it. I have personally been going there for over 25 years and recommend them to all my friends. They charge like $12. Over the years they have waited to raise their prices until they absolutely had to and when they have, it hasn't been more than $1. I am going to be screwed if they ever decide to retire because the only other place that comes close to them i have found is in SC."
