"My wife was transported the emergency room in Green. I spoke to the staff about her and how to treat her. There was no compassion shown. It was more important to get my insurance and history in the system instead of listening to me on how to treat her. I was ignored and told to use the button to call. They went about doing whatever. My wife was the only patient. The nurse assigned to her acted as if we were a burden and just went about her business and acted like my wife was unimportant and treated her that way. I should have went to general emergency. I thought health care people were to show patience, kindness and concern not acting like she was a burden"
"I went here for a sharp stabbing pain in my varicose veins that sends pain down my leg, and for pain in my lung. I've had these varicose veins for a long time and I've had flare ups before but this was far different and has been lasting for 2 days going on 3. With my lung, it's been having a lot of pain for the past week and I've been getting pains in that same spot for a few years now. So saying all what was wrong with me, what I had issues with was that I was only told I was going to be doing an ultrasound, then moments later a nurse comes in asking if I knew about all these tests that the doctor ordered. I didn't but I agreed to them as long as my insurance covers it, so let's hope they do. There was only 2 tests they told me about which was putting stickers all over me and then blood work, and then the ultrasound I already knew about. Then they come at me with a catscan, then come in for even more blood. After all the testing and waiting which I've been in that hospital from 12-5pm. And all of it was for nothing, they couldn't find anything about my veins, and then they found part of my lung was shriveled up, and they blamed it on me laying in a hospital bed, but yet this pain has been going on for a very long time, and recently been worse, hurts when I take deep breath sometimes, but then I have times where it just hurts to hurt. Every time I come to this ER they can "never" find anything, and usually I get a lot of rude stuck up nurse's but this time everybody was extremely nice, and that's why I gave 3 stars. I usually have a bad time here, they always try to get u in and out, not in a good way though. Also at the time I came in there was almost nobody here, they got me back immediately but after each tests they took forever, like instead getting one test done and while waiting for results we do another test but it felt like an hour wait between all the tests."
"I’ve been to several hospitals in Ohio and this one is the best. I’m writing this now because I was suggesting this place to family. I was giving such high praise about Summa to my family that I figured I might as well write a review. I will always go here for my needs. They are fairly quick, very efficient and thorough. The staff is also kind."
"Very disappointed, visited to treat shoulder injury from bike fall. Couldn't lift arm but no pain. So doctor goes to stroke protocol. We knew that it was trauma but didn't want to disagree with doctor. Many tests and thousands of dollars later, we were correct. We feel hustled. I guess that we will have to question doctors. Stroke protocol, wow.."
"I've been in and out of hospitals for 4 days and this is the only one that not only gave me answers, but also made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The staff was kind, attentive and knowledgeable. It is hard to find that these days. I am thankful I made the extra 25 minute drive, because anywhere else I would have spent hours in the waiting room. Here we were seen very soon after arrival. Thank you."
