"It's a beutiful park to walk both my small Dogs..( leashed by the way) Walking my dogs on leash I I noticed a man walking a big black dog off leash.when i ask if he knew there is leash law ordinance in place place to prevent it? He told me to mind my own business ? Call the Police he said ..i did! They showed up and spoke with him .Told me his dog is in training., it's OK! NO Sir, it is not alright. For anyone To have any dog in any public place not only is it illegal, its inconsiderate to everyone else enjoying the park! These people need training on how to be a responsible pet owner!"
"Very nice park where you can get 2 miles in on a big loop, paved trail. Plenty of parking, and some elevation in the trail make it an excellent place to get a walk in. There is also a covered area where you can picnic or relax. There is the paved path in addition to unpaved trails."
"Almost 2 mile loop of paved trail that connects to other trails. Not shaded. Picnic shelter, plenty of parking and a bathroom on site."
"This is a beautiful little trail. About 1.75 miles long, it has markings on the trail, and shortcuts if you need them. Rolling hills, gorgeous dips and views inside Wayne County. The trail passes through a lovely meadow full of flowers, plants, creepy crawlies, and singing wildlife. Just what you are looking for. It has a lookout hill nearest the parking lot for those who don't want to walk but would rather sit at a bench and enjoy the view of a king, that's about 75 yards away from parking. The only thing this trail doesn't have is deep woods, but you won't it that much. Everything is paved on the main trail and shortcuts are mowed through the thickets. Happy trails!"
"Great trail. Paved and assessable. Easy to find, lots of parking, a covered picnic area and bathrooms. The trail is 1 1/2 miles and what I would call easy but it does have a big hill at the end and no shade. So go before the hottest part of the day. Recommend to any level hiker."
