"This is my go to spot to fish and relax with the kid but the road to the boat ramp is bad like real bad that’s my only complaint"

"I was in this park at the beginning of the fall season. You have many things to do there, as walking in a trail around the north half of the lake, you can bring your boat or kayak trough the dock. There are many picnic benches and covered shelters. There is a fishing pier, too. The parking lot is free. The landscape is fantastic. I really loved it!"

"Scenic walking paths and variety of points of interest (trails, marina, wildlife refuge, playground, Exploration Gateway, library, etc.) Great place to bring the kids."

"We held a graduation party here in the pavillion next to the marina. The facility was very nice with 2 single occupancy bathrooms, a full kitchen and open dining area. This had 3 sliding glass doors that led out to a raised, covered deck with an elevated view of the lake itself and 2 picnic tables. Everything was very nice, the only reason I did not give them 5 stars was for the lack of air conditioning (there are 2 ceiling fans in the dining area)."
