Punderson Park Pier

"One word sums up my trip here, Fishing! I found a little pier and had my biggest local catfish... It was a solid 6 pounder and it was the first catch of the day. I had something else that snapped my line and several other small cats."

"Pier walk is beautiful but hard to find. Go to back of the Manor walk down the steps pier walk is to the right at the landing. You end up in the cabin area. Just follow that road back to the Manor. More signage maybe?"

"I love this place but I cannot give it more stars. I have been comming to this park for my entire life, the sad part is like all government ran businesses, it is failing. The camp ground is extremely out dated and the bathrooms are always dirty, I must clean the stall or sink prior to my usining of it. The lake and lake shore continue to get worse each year, when I was younger the lake and the lake shore were kept free of weeds and muck, so that you could fish from the shore. Now it is so over grown and there are thick amounts of seaweed that fishing from the shore is not possible. The marina is one giant seaweed mess, it says it's a fishing area but for sure it's not any longer. The walking trails are over grown, the archery targets are extremely worn. I want the punderson I grew up with back, it was clean, well maintained I felt like paying for camping was going towards something, now I come for, well I'm not sure what I am still coming here for, I hope that maybe it will be cleaned up and better one of these times."

"Multiple options on things to do within the park at all times of the year. Beach is your standard small body of water swimming area. Mansion and pier are worth the short walks."
