Reviews of Magnum XL- 200
"Having grown up in northeast Ohio, I looked forward to going to Cedar Point every year! It's been many years since I have been there but I promise you you will be disappointed. They have always been the leader in having roller coasters that are record holders of some sort. So if you are looking to ride the fastest, steepest, longest roller coasters the world has to offer, this is the place you need to go. I've been to Six Flags and other amusement parks...they don't come close to Cedar Point. I promise you it is worth the drive from anywhere you might be if a thrill is what you are looking for!!!"
"This ride has some light roughness on certian parts, but is mostly fairly smooth and has very forceful airtime. Even if it was the first hyper coaster, it still beats steel vengeance for me. This is a very underrated ride."
"By far the WORST ride at Cedar Point. Seriously. There are three bumps towards the end of the ride that will SMASH your legs into the bar so hard that it will bruise you and cause pain for the rest of the day and into the next. And I don’t have small weak legs either, and I can go on all the other rides no problem (minus corkscrew). Not sure how anyone enjoys this ride and yet, they do. I get this is an older ride, but it’s just plain awful. I’ll make sure to always avoid this one when I come back. I agree with the other reviews, maybe just retire this one completely or reinvent it so it’s smooth and not debilitating. Or at least put a warning sign up."
"It's one of my favorites. That first hill is amazing, and i love the tunnels"
"This ride is pretty controversial, but for me, I love the rattly feeling, because it gives the ride so much character. The park takes fantastic care of it, so it isn't as bad as it could be. The lifthill alone is so worth it. The sound is beautiful. Also, to prevent pain in your thighs on the last airtime hills, pull your seatbelt as tight as it will go. It won't restrict any of the ejector airtime, and it'll leave your legs bruise free. The pain was so worth it though."
