Reviews of Glenwood Gardens
"Great beautiful park. You can do many things here. Taking photos under the Arch is just one thing of many. It has a garden where you need to be assigned before you get access."
"Absolutely beautiful park with so much for kids to explore. We visited again for the Fairy Festival which was a little disorganized but we still enjoyed ourselves. We were disappointed to find out that even though we were told the festival was handicap accessible, it did not actually include the hill down to the music garden nor the area down there where majority of the festivities were held. Luckily our group made our way down and really enjoyed what we saw. The music gardens were beautiful as well as you could see the festival was well planned in the entertainment regards. Everyone we met once we were within the garden was doing their best and so nice. I wish they had been more staffed since the park staff seemed very stressed out and a few made remarks that could have come off ruder if we all weren't trying to be understanding with each other considering the event was clearly overwhelming for them more than us. We have visited before (Harry Potter event) and will continue to visit again because I know they will only improve each visit."
"Outstanding place! I visited in March, but there were some flowers already bloomed such as daffodils, some purple ones, and a type of roses. At the entrance, there is the cotswold overlook, which is breathtaking. Dog and kids friendly. In March, there was a free Plenty of parking lot. Restrooms available. Trails for hiking. I saw a groom and bride having their photo session in this place because it is that beautiful. There is a souvenir store called "nature's 's niche" and a discovery garden called: Highfield discovery garden"."
"Beautiful, well maintained park. We enjoyed the Highfield park section with playground, fairy garden, and walking/nature trails. the playground equipment seems to be geared more towards younger kids our nine year old had a good time but we could tell he would be bored with the equipment fast. There is a charge of $6 per person for this portion of the park. Parking is free. There is an area to eat, and a gift shop, as well"
"This was our family's first time here at the gardens during the wintertime. We didn't know what to expect. It was awesome, sure it looked bare without the vegetation but it still worth going out. Our kids loved the train display, the hands on Morse code station. The individual showing off different creatures to the kids. Then of course the always entertaining playground and the overall whimsical theme. This is truly one of Cincinnati's hidden gems for families."
