About the George Rogers Clark Park
Located along the picturesque Ohio River in Covington, Kentucky, George Rogers Clark Park is a popular tourist attraction and park that offers stunning views of downtown Cincinnati and the iconic Roebling Bridge. This scenic park, nestled in the Historic Licking Riverside Neighborhood, is a favorite spot for photographers and sight-seers alike.
The park's lush tree canopy provides a cool and shaded retreat for visitors looking to relax with a book, enjoy a picnic on one of the benches, or simply watch the boats pass by on the river. George Rogers Clark Park is also a sought-after venue for intimate weddings, with the capacity to accommodate small gatherings of 20-30 people.
One of the highlights of the park is the annual Duveneck Art Festival, hosted by the Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center, which showcases local artists and their works. Additionally, visitors can admire two of the seven Riverwalk Statues that line Riverside Drive: the statues of Simon Kenton, a renowned explorer, and Captain Mary B. Greene, a pioneering female river pilot and boat master.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature or a cultural experience by the river, George Rogers Clark Park offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Reviews of George Rogers Clark Park
"This park has the absolute best view of downtown Cincinnati. It's not a big park, but it's a great place to sit and relax. Surrounded by beautiful, historic homes and just blocks away from coffee shops, restaurants, and more, it's a great area to walk and enjoy the scenery. Take a walk down the riverside, as well. Street parking available, but parking can be tight at times. Some spots may be metered. A hot spot for wedding photos (I should know!)"
"Nice park with a great view of the Cincinnati skyline. But there is always groups of people taking wedding photos and their limos take up a lot of parking spaces."
"Beautiful place to walk or just sit and relax. Beautiful view of the Ohio river and of Cincinnati. Beautiful old homes and small park with benches. One of my favorite places to walk for exercise or to relax and clear my mind. Great place to sit and eat lunch."
"Myself and fiance have been going there for almost 8 years!! One of my favorite parks close to the city!!! Great views, clean, and safe. Great people as you are usually free to do as you wish as long as you respect those around you!!"
"Little park with great views of the Ohio Rive, bridges and the city. Lots of historical and century old houses in the neighborhood to explore, walking tours available with great insight, history and of course wich house or building is know to be haunted."
