"We used to visit this park often but it's been about 4 years since the last visit unfortunately... The updates are amazing! Can't wait to explore the whole park again in the spring!"
"Beautiful place. Very peaceful. There is a bent tree at the bottom of the mound. It has been uprooted and won't be there forever.. go check it out before it's gone!"
"Beautiful! Dog friendly which was a must. Not too busy on the trails. The Adena Indian Mound was interesting. The falls were so pretty! Was a good day trip and absolutely worth it."
"Indian Mound Reserve is a nature preserve located in Cedarville, Ohio. It covers an area of 166 acres and features hiking trails, picnic areas, and scenic views. The reserve is known for its prehistoric Native American earthwork mounds, which date back to the Adena culture from around 800 BC to 100 AD. The earthwork mounds at Indian Mound Reserve are considered to be some of the most well-preserved examples of Adena culture mounds in Ohio. The largest mound is about 25 feet high and 140 feet in diameter, and is believed to have been used for ceremonial purposes. In addition to the mounds, the reserve also features a variety of habitats, including forests, wetlands, and prairies. Visitors can hike on several trails that wind through these different habitats, offering an opportunity to see a variety of wildlife and plant species. The Indian Mound Reserve is open year-round, and admission is free. Visitors are asked to follow the posted rules and regulations to help protect the natural environment and cultural resources of the reserve."
"I loved this little park, especially the waterfall. There were many places from which to see and listen to the lovely falling water. It was peaceful and relaxing. There were a few other people enjoying the park, including some children, and everyone seemed to be enjoying nature, the beauty, and each other's company. There were other trails at the park for both adventure and exercise, a large open space for playing, and picnic tables including some under a shelter. A lovely place to spend an hour or even an entire afternoon."
