"Great place to park while hiking or biking the Whitewater Gorge Trail. No restrooms or anything else, but a decent amount of parking (two small lots that are connected). We were able to park here with our 20' towable camper."
"Quiet and accessible. Only issue is the trash down by the water and the constant fear of needles."
"This trail is the best trail in the Richmond area. It’s mostly shaded and follows the whitewater river through beautiful forested territory. Many fish off the trail or access the river shore and enjoy some peace and quiet! Springtime is full of honeysuckle and wildlife encounters like deer, possum and baby raccoons! Summer sees wild strawberries and damselflies! Fall is full of autumn forest colors I have yet to enjoy the trail in the depth of winter but I’m sure it’s glorious! Go! Walk the full trail past the uphill dirt section to the bridge that crosses the River and you’ll reach the historical recording studio with mosaic portraits of influential jazz musicians on the path. Very cool space! Just a footnote - there are no bathrooms! So you’ll have to do a wild wee. Lol."
"We absolutely loved riding this trail!! Definitely will return to ride more of the trail we didn't see this time around. Gorgeous trail and various views, which we like a lot."
"Great Trail for biking or walking. The trail is finely crushed stone but was smooth for our beach cruiser style bikes. Follows the old Whitewater Canal and passes several old locks. Trail Heads are at Laurel Dam, East side of Metamora to about 3 Miles West of Brookville at the Moster Turf farm. We enjoyed going from Laurel to Metamora and back then having dinner at the Laurel Hotel."
