"Great park. Public fishing (no license required) with a small beach. New kayak rental station. Good playgrounds. Nice trail around the lake. Ballfields and a few picnic areas. It looks like there are also limited camping options around the park. Nice area. Quiet. Facilities are primitive but clean."
"Very nice lake with a great walking path around it. There are two separate playgrounds each with a large pavilion and lots of tables. There is also a small beach for swimming. Great fishing spot for adults and kids. The lake is also kayak friendly."

"Nice park for a town the size of Richwood. The lake itself is beautiful. You can fish there without a license required, boat, and there is a beach as well. Restroom facilities are available, in need of a little updating though. There is ball fields, basketball court, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and shelter houses. Many of these are in need of upkeep, but are available."
