"Stayed for a few months, awesome staff, fun events. Had to leave our camper to get some work done and they did an excellent job! Highly recommend them all the way around."
"Great for an overnight stay. Fairly decent drive from the highway so road noise and light pollution is nonexistent. We camped here on a Sunday so none of the offices were open which made it interesting to find and park at our site. The area was wide open and since we didn’t have any neighbors we decided to pull into our spot instead of backing in. Water was off which was sad because no one warned us, so we went and got a few jugs of water at Walmart just 6 miles down the road. Otherwise everything was great and a steal for the pricing! Saw the starlink satellites flying overhead due to the lack of pollution! We would go back!"
"dirtiest campsite ever been escorted to. fire ring was filthy, cigarette butts all over (like 100+ butts- no joke) and r campsite was obviously an afterthought. I am NOT lying when i tell u that i took these photos AFTER we complained and they came to “clean up”. i cant make this stuff up… it’s so sad. They cut the grass at 8:08 am. (have the video to PROVE it) and NO WIFI. brochure says wifi hotspotS , yea plural. there is NOTHING here and if there is, its all locked up."
"Believe the reviews when they say you are in the middle of a corn field ! We actually loved this spot for the night. We had been stuck in our previous site with hitch issues, so arriving here after a long day of travel was just what we needed. We arrived after hours, but that was not an issue. We were able to find our spot just fine, and thankfully we stay at a time that was not too busy. We had 50 amp hook up + water. NO sewer, but we did use the dump station prior to leaving. Our site was pull through, a little unlevel (but fine) and it was all grass. Cell service was low for us, but our Starlink worked. It was beautiful at night due to zero light pollution."
"The days at poorfamers: We have been at poorfamers for 7 seasons had 3 different spots and moved into our second camper. What can I say the days are long and the nights are fun, a place to cut loose, relax, and enjoy your extended weekend family. Through the years I have met some "unique" weekenders and some cool people, but that is what makes this campground great. The tractor pulls, car shows, flea market weekends, and camper planned events like cornhole, and rib cook offs were new to us but through the years we find ourselves looking forward to attending them. We (my wife) have finally found the perfect spot for us(my wife) to kick back and relax to our fullest and enjoy the peace and quiet. We hustle and bustle all week long and when it comes to the weekend all we want to do is come relax with good friends, share horrible week stories, and eat good food. Thanks PF for providing a place for us and our friends to camp and enjoy our time away from home."
