"Great place to steelhead and walleye fish in the fall"

"A gem. Fisherman use the pier 247, so it would be nice if there was safety equipment: Rescue buoys attached to ladders and pole at endpiece are needed, similar to Voinovich park. The height of the pier makes for a difficult situation if an accident were to happen. Adding trash can(s) closer to fishing area would better minimize litter as well."

"Beautiful place to view sunrise. Watched the sunrise solar eclipse on June 10, 2021. The pier is concrete and in great shape."
