"It's a nice park and access to the river.. but watch the ruts from tractor treads. I got caught in one, fell, and broke my ankle."
"My YMCA Swim class held a picnic last Saturday. The Pavillion was clean and was the perfect spot for the class. We had a great time and perfect weather."
"I wish I could give this a 0 star review. I live close by and thought it would be a nice hiking trail no. There is dog poop ever 2ft. The grass was super over grown. I didn't even make it quarter of a mile because of all the dog poop. If you have a dog I wouldn't walk it here. They definitely need to supervise the park or add more dog poop bag stations along the trail. (I didn't see one, but there could have been one)"
"This was a great small but packed with stuff place in painesville. There was a launch ramp for maybe a kayak or paddleboard. I saw a large fish by the rocks. There was a path for fishing and some really good habitat for fish to dwell. There was wildlife on the way. (snake pic). There was a paved path that i have yet to explore, a shelter, picnic tables, and restroom."
"Nice local park with a nice picnic pavilion and nature trails. The gravel loop is exactly 1200 meters and then the grass loop added on is slightly over a mile long when added on to the gravel loop as one big loop. The grass trails are not as smooth as the gravel ones though, so watch your footing when running. The steep hill down to the gravel trail from the parking lot is crumbling pavement that's very bumpy and bad footing, so that could be resurfaced. Our cross country team enjoys running here on a regular basis. It would be nice if the side walk on the side of the road that the park is on was extended down the hill to the park to make it more safely accessible by foot from that busy road and nearby neighborhoods."
