"Can't use cash. And you need a 24hr reservation, even if the park is empty. The most rediculious thing I have ever heard."
"I really don't know how you can have a bad time out here. No matter the weather, this place always brings a feeling of joy and happiness. My kids and I absolutely love coming here. So many trails, and now they have the tree house village that looks amazing, booked for the rest of this year though, so hopefully stay in one of them next year."
"I,m here with my scout troop doing camp alaska"
"Very nice campsites, in a secluded forest setting. So much nicer than camping on a cement block surrounded by a village of people. Close to several trails and beautiful views, There's even stables for horses for those lucky enough to have their equine friends go camping with them. However, I wouldn't recommend this site to those used to "glamping". The pump well is non potable and the bathroom is more or less an outhouse. My husband and I loved it and will definitely be returning. For those who like a more rustic experience, I HIGHLY recommend it!"
"The Springbrook Group Camp is a wonderful place for groups to gather at Oak Openings. It is one of two group camps currently open at the park. The Springbrook Group Camp is also set up perfectly just off the horse trails for those who wish to pack in and stay with their horses close by. The pit toilets are well-maintained. Water is available via a well pump. The camping areas are large and feature fire pits and free wood nearby."
