"This is pretty much a rest area but they have the old style toilets that are just a hole in the ground under the toilets. They do have areas to picnic and sit out of your vehicle if you need a break out of the car for a few but it is kind of secluded so use your best judgment if you're alone or a woman. There probably wouldn't be much help if you happen to need it."
"Great little roadside stop with some history. Nice play area for kids. Lots of grass and wildflowers. Decent picnic areas and places to sit. Short nature walk, but you can make it longer by walking to the trail head of the Deep Cut Miami Erie Canal trail, which is just on the other side of the canal. You can get there from the south side of the park."
"Stopped here on my Ohio road trip. I wasn't very impressed. Not much to do here. There is decent parking and looked to be non flush toilets which is kinda nice."
"If you like history and hiking then step on up and check out this top notch trail! It’s a very clean and flat gravel trail and the scenery and wildlife variety is spectacular. Located on the opposite of the this trail and the canal is Deep Cut Park which offers a very peaceful, clean, and family friendly picnic area with a few trails. I definitely recommend this spot especially to the history buffs and hikers you will not regret it!"
"Small town historical site. Not too much to see anymore since the roadside rest is basically gone. It does have a lot of old Ohio nostalgia. Mainly a sentimental place for me because I remember what it used to be like."
