Reviews of LUX Salon
"I came in for a haircut for the first time and was scheduled with Gina. She took her time and gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I appreciate that she took her time and double checked that my bangs and hair were even. I will definitely be back!"
"Clean, welcoming environment and the nicest people. Gina is a dream and is wonderful to both me and my neurodivergent daughter. I would recommend this salon to anyone."
"Gina was awesome! She was so nice and did a great job on my hair and nails. My hair is super thick, but she took the time to thin it out and make me feel gorgeous! It was storming outside and she walked me to my car with an umbrella which she definitely didn’t need to do. I wish I found this place sooner!"
"The hair dresser was not welcoming from beginning to end. She tried to make small talk but was clearly being fake and not genuine. My appointment was made as a hair donation. I called a couple days prior to express my concern that I did not think I had enough to still give me the length I wanted. I do not think the lady I spoke to ever gave the hair dresser that message. The lady I had was unfriendly. I got there a couple minutes early and no one from the salon even said hello. I walked to the bakery in the plaza and went back when finally the hair dresser met me in the front. We discussed that my hair cut would be extremely short after the donation length requirement. I never pushed back and completely agreed to still getting it cut. She never asked me what I wanted other than me saying I wanted it the length of a photo shown on the wall as a reference only. For the amount of hair I was cutting so many different styles were available but she didn't care to discuss anything with me. She just cut it and then rudely asked me if I wanted it blow dried. I am a paying customer just like everyone else, yes I want to feel good when I leave. So she dried it but never asked if I wanted it styled. I even shared that I like beach waves but never once offered. When the service was done, she actually just walked away. She never said thanks and she hopes I return especially after learning I live a mile and a half away. She just left. She never made recommendations for when I return or even TRY to discuss any products that she thinks would work. I got up and made my way to the cash register where another stylist just took my payment and asked if I wanted to tip which I did tip $10. I am a very nice and generous person so I feel so sad that I was treated this way. So after all that, it's just the service experience I had which was a negative one. Because she was so anxious to get me out, I have an uneven haircut. It was supposed to be a blunt cut but it's far from that. The photos do not even do the uneven haircut justice. I do not know her name because she was so fake towards me but was so quick and kind to her next appointment. She used a men's razor and told me to trust her, I did but that was a bad decision. She said she just started to help out her friends salon however she is really doing them an injustice. I wish it worked out but. This was an overall awful experience leaving me with an awful haircut."
"Great atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable. Sarah was my stylist and definitely works magic. I highly recommend this Aveda salon. For the first time in my entire life my hair was healthy, full, and not falling out due to being over processed. Try them out you will not be sorry"
