"Tried booking twice the communication is minimal. Website does not give opportunity to cancel. Purchased on Groupon and trying to get my refund now."
"From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere was welcoming and was greeted with a smile. She did such a wonderful job on my eyelashes. I was extremely comfortable during the whole process. Even if I had some discomfort in my lower back due to the table, she got a wedge pillow for me to help ease the discomfort. Wonderful experience combined with a wonderful artist."
"I had cancellation 2 hours before the appointment. Ok. Perhaps. Perhaps the tech really got sick, but.... now I'm not sure about it. Because a month later I signed up for the lash extensions again and... two days before the appointment I was asked to postpone the procedure to another day. OK. We have agreed the new day and time. And I arrived by the closed doors! Nobody came to my appointment. I waited half an hour and left without lashes. Two days before Cristmas!!! They could have at list warned me. And you won't be able to call them! They only have an answering machine on their phone! This is the first time in my life I have encountered such an attitude towards clients...."
"Firstly, I’m never one to leave a negative review. Everyone has a bad day and after years in customer service, I get it. But this was particularly terrible. I arrive for my 10am appointment to this beautiful small one room studio. I meet with Marie and almost immediately share with her that I had a reaction to an adhesive a few years ago and that I would need a gentle/sensitive formula. She gives me a form to complete and asks a few follow up questions about my allergies, I advise her I don’t know the name of the adhesive the previous lash professional used. As we’re getting set up she’s applying the taping and it feels a bit tight around the eyes. She asked if I was okay and I said it was kind of tight, and she said she would set them lower. She also offered to give me a wedge to go under my legs for comfort, which I found very considerate since I would be on my back for approximately two hours. As we move along, I asked if the adhesive she would be using is the gentle formula for sensitive eyes. She then stated that it was and that estheticians are not allowed to disclose the brand of adhesives and that they all contain chemicals which is why she taped around my eyes. At that moment my gut told me that that wasn’t anywhere close to being the truth. I didn’t think that it was unreasonable question to ask what was being applied to my body especially after I disclosed I had a reaction to a previous product. I debated whether or not to contest this, but she was referred by a person I trust. I decided to let her finish and ask more questions at the end. Sometime later I felt a cool midst on my face and I asked her, “what’s that?” She replied “H2O”. I’m used to people explaining steps as they go along so I’m not surprised by anything, but that wasn’t the case here. It had been two years since getting lash extensions and I just figured that the techniques had evolved. My question was purely out of curiosity. She then asked if I was talking during my last lash application and I told her no. She then said that, “talking causes people to squint which causes cracks in the eye bed and could cause a reaction,” so we were then going to “cease conversation.” Shortly after I got cold. I debated on saying anything, but I ultimately did because it would be a long appointment. I was wearing a long sleeved hoodie and long pants, but it was still pretty cool in the room. I said, “Oof, it’s cold.” She said, I’ll go shut of the A/C. When she came back she said, “I have another appointment, so I’m going to remove your lashes. You won’t have to pay anything, I will remove them for free.” I said, “Ma’am, I have an appointment.” She then said, “You seem to be complaining a lot and I can’t keep getting up, so I’m going to remove your lashes.” To say I was upset is an understatement. I made the appointment weeks ago because I’m leaving for a conference soon. Our conversation was very minimal and pertaining only to the service that was being provided. I thought by asking about the product, I could ultimately find alternatives, make sure to use the brand she uses if it was a good fit, or learn whether or not my body is simply too sensitive for lash extensions. As she was removing the lashes, I shared with her that I’m a cancer patient and I ask questions about all products, sunscreen, deodorant etc. It’s not unreasonable to want to know what’s going in/on your body. Everyone has a bad day, but her behavior was inexcusable. Update***** The response from this business says more about them than it ever could about me. The above mentioned items I put in quotes are because they were direct quotes from the technician, Marie. And to state the obvious, I did not fall asleep. And to state the obvious again, Cancer tends to changes one's appearance. It's unfortunate to be mocked for it, but not surprising."
"I absolutely loved my experience here! Very clean and professional. She made sure I was comfortable at all times and did an amazing job! Everything was explained to me in detail so I knew exactly what was going on and also how to do all the after care. She was also extremely sweet and so friendly! I would %100 recommend going here. I will definitely be going back."
