Glitzy Nails

"Usually do my own nails(gel, gelx, dip), but I’m currently traveling. Recently chopped them down, and wanted to get some gel overlay to protect them from breaking. Came to this salon based on some positive reviews, and immediately was struck by how dusty and dirty everything is, including their gel lamps(dust was falling onto my nails IN THE LAMP), tables, and polish bottles. A simple Clorox wipe would do that issue well. Regrettably, I still went through with the manicure, and was sorely disappointed. Absolutely no cuticle work, not even pushing back my cuticles in any way(which made the polish flood) Rough filing, and when the three Polish bottles were brought out, I was surprised to see they did not even use a dehydrator or primer on my nails of any kind. It’s about one hour since I got it done, and I’m already noticing peeling on the edges due to this, and many nails were flooded, bumpy, and uneven. Do not recommend at all in any way."

Lynn & Leah did me and my little sister acrylic nails and they came out so pretty! exactly like the pictures we showed them. Also my mom and fiancé got a pedicure and they both said they really enjoyed it! Definitely will be going back there again☺️"

"I came into the salon wanting a removal (soak off), and then I was wanting to get a new set. Well instead of soaking my nails off, the tech there took a nail tip and literally popped my nails off one by one, which took LAYERS of my real nails off with the acrylic. After removing all the nails by yanking them off, I noticed that one of my nail beds were really thin and the top of it was rough and jagged, so I asked her if she would still be able to do that nail and she told me yes. So this is when she starts to do my new set. All I wanted was a simple black French tip, but when she began to paint them it looked HORRIBLE, so I told her to take it off and that I would just go pick a color. While I’m picking my color, she says something to her coworker and then storms to the back. I return to my chair with my color, and a NEW tech finishes painting my nails. It was a terrible experience in the salon and after. I have had this set for a little less than a week, and that same jagged nail I asked her if she would be able to do, BROKE and took the whole entire top part of my nail bed off with it. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I also asked the second tech if he had any other techs in the salon that could do designs and he said no just her. So if you’re looking for a design definitely don’t go there"
