Nice Nails

"I use to go here years ago and then moved out of the area. I’ve been to several salons in Ohio but have not found a place with consistent quality and a good product. I still have family in Independence so decided one day while I was in the area to go back and try it. I was glad that Don and Lisa were still there and that the quality and product were as good as I remembered. It’s with the drive from Mason! I highly recommend this place!"

"A little pricey but very satisfied with my visit they were so friendly and did really good and the younger lady took her time on em and even stayed after hrs to finish my nails. 10/10 recommendation"

"UPDATE: i called and they told me to come in to get them fixed. the man who fixed them did amazing! i left a generous tip. My mom called ahead and made an appointment and mentioned there would be 4 people. One full set, one pedicure and two manicures. The man said okay, be here at 11:30. I showed up about 11:25, told them I was a part of the appointment set for 11:30. I signed in and told them the rest of the party were on their way. There were only two workers. They finished up the girl before me and sat me down, and began my full set. Another woman walked in and asked for a fill in, they told her to go ahead and sit down and began her nails. When the rest of my party got there and were walking through the door, their complete attitude changed. The girl said under her breath “oh my god” in a complaining tone. When all of my party got inside, I told them thats the rest of my party and they acted surprised, as if we didn't already call ahead and made an appointment. The girl doing the other woman’s nails had to go start my mom’s pedicure, so the guy doing my nails asked the woman if she could come back at 2pm, she said no because the girl had already done half her nails. He repeatedly apologized to her, and rushed my nails. He did not respond well to pressure that he already okay’d, and completely disregarded the quality of my nails. They turned out feeling and looking cheap. The nails are clearly not even, theres dead skin all around my nails, he didn’t use oil to keep them healthy, the paint is uneven as well as each finger compared to the other. He rushed my nails with horrible quality and then dashed to the girl that he was repeatedly apologizing to. He took his time on her nails which didn’t sit right with me because we weren’t treated with the same amount of respect. Once I had my hands under the dryer, the 3 more workers that showed up as reinforcements arrived. There I waited an hour for them to meticulously do the other two manicures simultaneously, longer than what the guy took to do my full set. I’m upset but I’m not gonna take any more time out of my day waiting for these nails, especially when I made an appointment before hand. The girl who did my mom’s pedicure, Nina, treated her really well though and my mom made sure to get her name and leave a nice tip. These are how my nails turned out, they feel very thin and flimsy."

"i went there, it only took about 10 mins top as a waiter. it took her about 30 mins to do my nails and she did them good, she was very nice. and it’s very cheap!"
