"Mei mei is such a sweet heart but ultimately the dip powder service wasn’t great. The service was 90 min, the nails are lumpy on top, cuticle skin was painted, and the nail edges are unevenly filled. A few nails received cuts around the nail bed so it strongly stings whenever I wash my hands. The nails are unusually thick. I know Mei Mei put a lot of effort in and tried to make corrections as she went, but the end result is extremely mediocre. Her customer service skills were fantastic. I appreciated the courtesy water. I just wish the technical execution was better."

"I'm never coming back to this salon. Full disclosure, I've gotten good manicures and pedicures here before (Mai is very good with manicures). But today's experience was just atrocious. Went in without appointment for gel removal and they took me in right away. Instead of soaking my nails in acetone first, my technician went straight to use the drill on my nails, to the point that they were burning. What was worse than that is that when she made me soak my hand in the bowl of acetone, I had to take it out: it was BOILING. She asked me if it was too hot, and I agreed, since I could literally see bubbles rolling up in the liquid. Instead of grabbing another bowl or adding some cool water, she made me wait (going at hard at my poor nails with the drill in the meantime) until it was not scalding hot, and made me put my hands in it anyway! All of that, and my nails are destroyed. Patchy, uneven, and there's still gel on them. I'd rather fix them at home than go back here ever again."
