"I came to Urban Salon last-minute one day. I was worried about how to care for my long hair extensions I had no experience dealing with them (the sown-in kind.) I lucked out and happened to be taken care of by Jillian, who helped me learn so much! For example, wearing a bonnet at night helps your hair stay put and undamaged. Now I go to Urban and see Jillian for blowouts whenever I can. I get a professional shampoo, scalp massage, cooling oil application and little treat of hand lotion as well as thorough gentle drying of my hair and extension wefts. A thermal finish is added to give me a nice style and it tops off the whole process. All of that usually takes less than an hour, and the price is right! With a tip I spend less than the price of the service alone at other shops, and I get quite a few compliments on my long hair! Most importantly, my own natural hair is growing out undamaged because of the great care it gets. I highly recommend Urban Salon."

"This appointment was for my granddaughter. Emily was the stylist and did a wonderful job. My granddaughter got a full highlight and cut. We were both very pleased with the results. Emily was very professional and had a pleasant disposition. She really did an outstanding job on the highlights. My granddaughter has received so many compliments and we refer them all to Urban!"

"Kelsey absolutely destroyed my hair. I went in and asked for a fashion color balayage, but left with most of my hair dyed black and the rest of it HOT pink. She asked if I wanted to keep my roots dark and I said yes, assuming by “keep” she meant my natural color. Instead she proceeded to dye most of my hair black without telling me while I was turned away from the mirror. She then started applying bleach and foils seemingly only to the top 1/3 of my hair. While processing she came and told me my hair wasn’t lifting as much as she’d hoped and asked if I would be comfortable doing a slightly darker color of pink. I agreed. I had asked for a bubblegum sort of pink and was given streaky, uneven, cheap looking neon pink in chunks all over my hair. She then started my haircut in which all I asked for was for her to clean up my curtain bangs. Now I am left with two eye level chucks of hair all the same length. Not even CLOSE to curtain bangs and they look horrible. This was supposed to be something fun to do to my hair before I lose the rest of it but I am nothing but heartbroken and disappointed. The first photo is the inspiration photo I showed her, the rest are of my hair immediately after leaving the salon. She didn’t even style it. Not even CLOSE to worth the $250 I paid. Horrible."
