Ambiance Nail Spa

"Beautifully decorated nail salon with a great layout. This is a nail salon where you need to make an appointment if coming in on the weekend. The rating of my review is due to the lack of communication and overall experience as a less than desired walk-in customer. We were greeted and told to pick out a nail polish color. After that we received no further communication or updates. My only request is when you have a wait or observe customers waiting a simple update on estimated time goes a long way. If we had been informed it was a 35+ minute wait I would have went shopping and come back. I will not be returning even with an appointment."

"I went in for an appointment on 10/19 for a dip manicure. Picked a fairly basic black with fine glitter for Halloween. My nails are short, nothing crazy. My nails are significantly chipping by today 10/30. They started chipping not even a week in. My pinky nail is chipping. I've gotten longer wear out of an at home dip manicure I did myself. With a salon dip manicure I always get a full month, sometimes I could even go longer if I wanted to. The technician used a gel top coat and a light to cure my nails instead of the typical dip polish top coat. I trusted he knew what he was doing, but perhaps this is why I got such a short time out of them. I call and this girl answering laughs at me, tells me they have a 7 day timeframe to fix work and tells me she will schedule me a new appointment at full cost. Seriously? I was polite until this point and I'm thinking I paid over $60 for nails that look like I didn't them myself? Why on earth would I come back?! So here we are. I love to treat myself with getting my nails done from October through January for the holidays, and I always get pedicures at ambiance, but this was my last visit."

"I’ve been here a handful of times for a mani pedi and they’ve always done a good job on my acrylics and pedicures. Last time I came here I got my acrylics removed and opted for a gel manicure on my natural nails. The tech clearly disagreed with my choice to take my acrylics off and made that very clear to me. I ended up hating how they came out because they were just poorly done and the polish was bubbly and lumpy, so I didn’t even take a picture. I’m sure it was an isolated incident but I haven’t been back since then because it put a bad taste in my mouth."
